Toyota Entune App Reviews

Awful, buggy app that provides data connectivity to a 90s-era car interface. Just give customers what they want - CarPlay and the other one. The idea that Toyota offers any value here is delusional.

Wowie kazzoie! Thanks for the reviews. I thought it was just me. Brand new Tacoma. Trying to get Entunes to just run smoothly. Thinking I was doing something wrong on my end. Called entunes called dealer, sometimes works sometimes doesnt. After 2 months gave up and stop using. What a shame. Love, love the truck. Hate, hate entunes.

Pointless invasion of privacy. Not sure why the collection of personal information, but likely selling it to a third party. Beyond that, it serves no purpose. Any smart phone on the market makes this app obsolete. Disappointed in Toyota for installing this in the vehicle. I wish Toyota cared enough to actually read the reviews and do something about this. It appears this has been around for several years and looks like they put no effort into developing it!

Main issue is with Pandora, which Ive completely given up on because it never connects no matter what I do. Not sure if this app affects navigation, but its pretty bad too - Ill usually have to adjust the route manually because its usually pretty screwed up in which routes it picks. Yelp and the other apps have almost no use so theyre kind of a joke.

Please toyota fix this

I was excited at first about purchasing my Toyota Highlander. However Im having buyer remorse with the electronic suit on the vehicle. Mainly, my passanger being locked out of menu options sush as address. I was hoping this app will allow that additional interaction for direction. The audio suit is also overly complex. I cant get pandora to work. I just play audio & nav over the aux cable. Please improve app and test it with customers!!!

Way too much info needed , too many steps.

Toyota clearly hasnt figured this app out. Its slow, and doesnt work half the time. I wish theyd give control to CarPlay already

Need update/ bug fix to address connectivity problems.

Ever since I installed this app, my multimedia system on my Avalon continues to reboot randomly. This is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. Ive deleted the app from my phone in order to listen to music. It seems like a way to promote SiriusXM radio instead of Entune!

Just used this app recently for the first time in a long while....and its just as bad as it ever was, if not worse. * On the 12 hour round trip drive from Cleveland to Chicago, it lost connection between the app and vehicle at least 50 times. Sometimes, I would have to kill the app and restart, sometimes, I would have to disconnect and reconnect the vehicle. Sometimes, nothing worked for hours. * Sometimes, it still is playing Pandora or IHR, but it gets out of sync so the album info doesnt match, and the controls wont work. This can be very frustrating when youre listening to explicit content (like Eminem) and the kids take their headphones off....it would be nice if the pause button was reliable. * On all of the apps, you can only flip through one or 2 pages of the menu, before it says its locked out because the vehicle is in motion. I have a passenger sitting right next to me that is trying to adjust it....how is that a safety issue?!?! So that requires 2-3x as much looking at the screen, instead of the road...VERY dangerous!! For example, I cant scroll down far enough to get to the station I want on Pandora when sorted by date, so I have to find a station with a name starting with a similar letter, select it, then sort by name, and select the one I really wanted. Im sure people other the. Me paid a premium for this Entune system....we should file a class action suit.....maybe we can get some $ back from Toyota .

I hate this app. Honestly nothing works. They need to do an update. Please fix!

Totally worthless you cant use it as well as an aftermarket radio.

This app is embarrassingly bad, and reflects poorly on Toyota. Its actually a negative, literally, in terms of utility. It annoys you by asking for a login after you get in your car, and doesnt do anything that is useful whatsoever. Whats the point, Toyota? Why not stop trying to compete with Google, and instead just let our smartphone screens be displayed on the monitors that we paid for with our car?

Doesnt even recognise the VIN of the new Toyota I just bought, so cannot even use the app. Pointless.

Entune issue, I been having problems with this app is sad seeing this from Toyota, I been a Toyota family since 1995 I had Toyotas Tacoma since they came out, now I have a 2005 Tacoma four doors and a 2016 tundra crew max 4x4 plus a 2015 Highlander platinum I was trying to trade my Highlander for the new 2017 but not anymore because of this entune problem they have, it is sad but true, now I am looking for a 2017 Range Rover, BMW, AUDi. Toyota this is serious!! Need to fix the problem!!!! Before your costumers go somewhere else.

Will try to use Pandora and half of the time it will either not connect at all or will stop after just one song. Have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the account (that just logged me out of Entune completely). Update: now Pandora never works. Not only that, but I cant "unlink" my Pandora account. Apple Carplay would be nice.

Pandora doesnt Always work. App needs to be refined to work better.

Horrible interface, slow and constant disconnects

App selection hasnt been updated for years. Integrate CarPlay already and stop "supporting" this waste of time.
