**Update** I have had my RAV4 for a year now. During every routine maintenance, I have pleaded with dealer to update Entune. It is still a piece of junk. Updates, if even applied, fix nothing. This app is a safety hazard. Voice recognition is nothing but frustration, connection with phone sporadic. Navigation inputs are cumbersome. I just use phone directly now. Ive been a Lexus/Toyota owner for 20 years. This app and Toyotas lack of support for it will have me searching other options next time. Shame on you Toyota. --------/// The app is cumbersome to use when trying to save and sync saved destinations. Entune must login in every-time when starting car. This usually requires taking iphone out of pocket to confirm login. Then I must go into apps and sync phone to retrieve saved destinations. This process takes much more time and effort than just asking Siri directly for directions. Much frustration is that many features of head unit are disabled when vehicle is in gear. Even though passenger is doing the inputting. I end up using phone directly more often than necessary and thereby defeating purpose of all these "safety" features.

My Prius Prime Climate Control is not working. I spoke with Toyota on December 13, 2016 and they said its a known issue. The Toyota rep was friendly and knowledgeable and said once fixed the App, and possibly the software in the vehicle will receive an update.

Useless App. Does nothing! Dont waste your time

90% of the time Pandora does not work in the Entune app.

Youd thing the software for a brand new vehicle would work! My truck only works with Bluetooth.

I should be able to search for a place on my phone while the device is connected to my car. This would make it easier to find destinations. Maybe add Google maps gps which is 1000% more accurate than the crap Toyota has put out. Also... ADD SPOTIFY.

First it wouldnt accept my VIN so I scanned it in, which it then did accept. Then it said my radio is not Entune. WRONG! It is--I have the window sticker right here in front of me, beside the fact that I do know how the car I just bought is equipped.

EVERY time you turn on the car it asks you to connect. Toyota needs CarPlay!!!

Please update app to stay logged in. Having to sign in/grant permission on phone every time the car is started is a nuisance.

Love my 2016 Tundra, but the entune app is a joke. You have to log in every time you start the vehicle, it is not compatible at all with apple products either. You would think that Toyota would have polished this thing up before launch. At best, it is an after thought and a struggle to keep up with competitors like GM. I hope my iPhone will one day work with my truck. I can make calls fine, but , messaging is non existent, it never gives the option to actually read my messages, even when parked, and it randomly disconnects. I cant use the voice command to compose a message, it informs me my phone is not compatible with this feature. This has to be fixed Toyota.

I was using this app on my iPhone 5 with my 2015 4Runner and had no problems. After upgrading to an iPhone 6s only the Bluetooth phone features work. None of the other apps recognize that Entune is running at all. Toyota has been no help. They say "we havent tested the iPhone 6". What kind of customer support is that?

Seriously, who even uses pandora anymore? Soundcloud and Spotify are [currently] where its at, and they work fine without using this app (Pandora, too, for that matter). There is literally zero advantage to using this app. Not to mention the hardware and software that came in my 2013 Corolla are garbage, too. I cringe whenever I accidentally it the button that prompts me to give voice commands - voice commands that not only dont work most of the time, but are useless if they did work. If the app could access something useful, like Google, or read my texts to me, that would be nice. For navigation, I use my phones apps just like with music. Its gonna be fun in 5 years when the hardware in my car is obsolete because they tried too hard to make it fancy and it wont be comparable with current technology (Im already running into silly glitches with my iPhone 6 Plus). As far as this app goes, dont even bother.

So you bought a new Toyota. Congrats. Now unfortunately for you you have the privilege of downloading Entune. Its awful. Its limited. It doesnt like to connect or stay connected. Its slow. The voice recognition is so bad its a joke.

Let me start that I had High hopes when the Toyota dealership downloaded this app to my phone. They assured me that the connectivity problem was due to their dealership location. That is not the case, I paid to have my phone a hotspot and have no problems with any other app on my phone. All of the problems I experience is this app never works. It has worked about 30 min at a time, and never when the car is started. It is absolutely the worst app I have ever put on my iPhone. I really hope Toyota spends the money and effort to fix this because Im ready to sell my car over this kind of nonsense. I might as well buy a ford or Hyundai.

This app works perfectly with the limited apps that are programmed. The selection is limited but they do work flawlessly. Bluetooth, Pandora, navigation, etc work as intended. 2016 Corolla s premium. Would be 5 stars but for the limited apps.

Im only writing this on the thin hope that someone at Toyota will read these reviews and fix this app. Its a great concept - linking my music accounts to the car - but the reality falls far short. Please fix the issues everyone else has already mentioned and then add support for Spotify. And let me delete apps that I dont want. You are a $160bb company - please get your software up to the same standard as your engineering.

I noticed a lot of people complaining about not getting texts or notifications while connected to Bluetooth. I just learned today that if you go into your Bluetooth section on your phone (I only know on the iPhone) and click the little i. Then click show notifications. Made my life easier! Hope this helps!
