Must be a running joke at headquarters

Works nearly flawlessly as long as I just stick to bluetooth audio and navigate from the phone. USB "iPod mode" seems to be designed for navigating an actual iPod from the head unit. Even plugging in an iPhone 6s causes stuttering in the music and eventually throws a power consumption error. The head units sad collection of "apps" pale in comparison to all of the hundreds of things which can be navigated more effectively and quickly via the phone. (Even the navigation nannies the user into coming to a complete stop before allowing further typing.) I have a feeling the "iPod" mode might work if I were to add a powered hub, but that would be quite insane. Ill just stick to my lighter adapter and bluetooth everything.
