Good Experience for me - not for others
I’m kind of amazed at some of the reviews but feel for their frustration. Perhaps some of the issues have been fixed, but I’ve had mine a month of daily use - including an 8 hour road trip, and my Highlander experience with Entune has been pretty good. iPhone 5s/IOS9.3. Occasionally the app is not recognized when I get back in the car and if the app is running in background, I’ve found killing it and restarting works. Have never had to log in since my first install. I LOVE the pandora integration and may kill my XM subscription and just stay with that. Far better than my 2013 GM, and my 2010 Ford - (though Ford voice recognition was best of the 3). Siri voice assist works fine. Entune GPS is pretty typical, though I typically use WAZE as it’s better with traffic. I’ve had no problem with Entune running in background of waze. Text Notifications work fine for me - but you do have to enable it on your iphone by clicking on the “i” in bluetooth and enable notifications. Music recognition seems to work fine too. No problems with bluetooth disconnects ever for me in daily use. That said, the apps are limited and won’t get much use. Manually syncing saved locations should just happen on sync, shouldn’t be manual. The design of the app is dated, though, and I wonder if it will be maintained. I can’t imagine buying this car used in 5-6 years and being able to use this.
